Wedding DIY: Lacey Cage Veil

Things you need for this DIY:
❂ veiling, cut 8" by a little more than half way around your head
❂ beaded embroidered lace appliqué
❂ two bobby pins or hair clips, I used these
❂ hot glue

total time:
45 mins

Cage veils are so un-fussy but really bring the drama.

Start by cutting out all of the little flowers from your appliqué.

Then stick one end of your veiling inside of the bobby pin. (If you are using regular bobby pins, you can glue the veiling to the outside, which will make it easier to put in your hair.)

Glue.

And trim.

Repeat on the other side.

Now artfully glue your little flowers all over the veil.

So romantic!

❂ matching beaded lace appliqués
❂ scissors
❂ a needle and thread
❂ a strapless dress

Total time:
30 mins

Turn an off-the-rack dress into THE dress.

This DIY is so easy. Start by sewing one end of the appliqué to the lining of your dress in the back. Do this with both sides.

Then put the on the dress so you can see where to sew the other ends of the appliqué on the front.

Done! Don't wait for your wedding, try it with any boring strapless dress in your closet.
