DIY: Shourouk Inspired Necklace

Things you need for this DIY:
❂ Constance rhinestone brooch
❂ rhinestone banding
❂ nylon cord (you can find it at the hardware store)
❂ fabric strips
❂ nail polish
❂ glue
❂ a needle and thread
❂ two bead ends
❂ jump rings + a clasp

Total time:
2 hours

I'm obsessed with Shourouk. I know right, big shocker.

Start by painting your brooch. Here was my inspiration.

Then glue the end of the fabric strip to the end of the cord.

Wrap the fabric around, glueing every inch or so.

Glue on the bead ends.

Sew the rhinestone banding along the cord.

Add the clasp and the brooch and voila!

DIY: Rhinestone Collar

Things you need for this DIY:
❂ rhinestone banding, cut into two 3" pieces
❂ chain
❂ jump rings
❂ a clasp
❂ glue (optional)

Total time:
5 minutes + drying time

So easy it's silly!

First I like to dab glue all around the rhinestone banding to prevent fraying and let it dry. Next, take your two pieces of rhinestone banding and attach them with a jump ring.

Then attach the chain with jump rings.

Add your clasp and you're done!

small beaded bow $5

Summer is coming to a close and even though it's sad, there are so many great accessories that you can only wear when it's chilly out. This is one of them.

Start by measuring a length of chain that fits loosely around your neck.

Then thread the chain through the loop on the bow.

Add the jump rings and the clasp.

So easy!
